Exploring sustainable living through food and inspiring locals to start modernising their approach to local food to meet market demands.
Maukami supports villagers to start looking at what’s growing in their own land with new eyes by initiating product concept ideas, conducting training on product development, providing packaging design as well as assisting in marketing and sales distribution.
The products that Maukami helped to launch are Tamarillo Jam and Sambal Bali, both are 100% homemade, produced by villagers from their own kitchen. Both products were well accepted in the market, and have found their ways to dining tables of families even outside of Bali.
